Kevin Gillest - President

Kevin Gillest Co-Founder, Precision SkiTECH

Co-Founder of Precision SkiTECH, a company dedicated to innovative ski products and precision ski equipment development. He began his career in the aluminum can manufacturing industry, focusing on research and development to improve production processes and product performance. He later became a partner in an engineering firm, designing and servicing aluminum can production facilities, where he honed his skills in engineering, innovation, and process optimization.

Now in retirement, Kevin has turned his expertise toward his lifelong passion: skiing. At Precision SkiTECH, he leads the development of high-quality ski products, combining engineering precision with innovative design to enhance the skiing experience for enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Ben Casey - Director of Engineering

Ben Casey – Co-Founder, Precision SkiTECH

Co-Founder of Precision SkiTECH, bringing a lifelong passion for skiing, alpine adventure, and innovative engineering to the development of precision ski products. Born in Alaska, Ben’s love for the outdoors was evident from the very start. An accomplished high-altitude mountaineer, he has summited Denali and skied down, and has also skied off all 58 of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks (14ers)—all before graduating with an Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines.

While at the Colorado School of Mines, Ben worked as a ski technician, mastering the traditional methods of ski mounting using jigs. Recognizing that the old system was long overdue for innovation, he set out to modernize ski mounting technology, combining his engineering expertise with his deep knowledge of skiing and alpine sports. At Precision SkiTECH, he applies this experience to advancing precision ski equipment, improving performance, accuracy, and safety for skiers of all levels.

Garrett Gillest - Business Development/Sales

Garrett grew up in the mountains of Colorado, where skiing was not just a passion but a way of life. From an early age, he immersed himself in competitive alpine ski racing, training at a high level with the Winter Park Competition Center Full-Time Academy. This formative experience instilled discipline, resilience, and a strong performance mindset that continue to shape his personal and professional pursuits.

In addition to athletics, Garrett has taken on significant leadership responsibilities at the University of Utah. He is currently devoting himself full-time to his role as Rush Chairman for his fraternity, where he focuses on recruitment strategy, relationship building, and organizational leadership. This role has strengthened his abilities in communication, planning, and team development.

Garrett is completing his degree at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business, a nationally recognized institution that consistently ranks among the top business schools in the United States, with top-10 recognition in Entrepreneurship. His academic focus, combined with his leadership experience and competitive athletic background, reflects a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and long-term growth.

Driven by a lifelong connection to the mountains and a forward-looking business mindset, Garrett brings energy, discipline, and leadership to everything he pursues.

Lisa Gillest - Accounting

Lisa began her career in the insurance industry, building her expertise from the ground up. Starting at the entry level, she developed a comprehensive understanding of the business and went on to own and operate her own insurance agency for 23 years.

As a business owner, Lisa wore every hat required to run a successful organization, including sales, marketing, bookkeeping, accounting oversight, and employee management. She also played a key role in supporting her husband’s business ventures through website development, design coordination, and marketing strategy, helping strengthen brand presence and operational efficiency.
